Funding the acquisition of innovative equipment
The program will fund large-scale, innovative equipment for research on Nature-based Solutions.
Led by INRAE and co-organized by the CNRS and the IRD, this targeted project aims to support the acquisition of new research equipment that will enable the French scientific community to address key research questions related to the design and evaluation of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) across the country.
The funding will target equipment such as sensor networks, environmental DNA monitoring, drone fleets, and artificial intelligence tools integrated into long-term research initiatives. The project will also prioritize equipment designed to cover areas or relevant aspects of socio-ecosystems that have not been adequately monitored to date from the perspective of NbS.
Funding for the equipments will be based on their ability to drive scientific innovation and generate beneficial advances in the field of SfN for a broad community. This initiative will begin in 2025.
