CHAIRS

Creation of international chairs

Led by Sorbonne University, this targeted project aims to support the recruitment of international experts in Nature-based Solutions who are leading collaborative, innovative, and transformative projects for the scientific community in metropolitan France and its overseas territories.

The objectives are to:

The funding will target ambitious projects of high scientific quality, based on an interdisciplinary and innovative approach, and aligned with the four major research areas identified in the SOLUBIOD PEPR: coastal environments, urban environments, agricultural environments, and protected areas.

These projects must demonstrate a strong, mutual commitment between the visiting researcher and the host laboratory. Affiliation with one of the PEPR SOLU-BIOD Living Labs is encouraged.

The second component of the chairs focuses on the involvement of experts in teaching, whether through participation in existing courses at French universities (in mainland France and the overseas territories) or through the creation of new courses on the social sciences and humanities, particularly in collaboration with the School of NbS (targeted project Vocational and university training).
