Nature-based Solutions International Congress

The French National Research Program on Nature-Based Solutions (SOLU-BIOD) and NetworkNature are organizing, for the first time in France, an international conference dedicated to Nature-Based Solutions. This event will take place from November 2 to 6, 2026, in Paris, and will bring together nearly 500 researchers, practitioners, city representatives, and decision-makers from the international NbS community.

Together, we will discuss science, practices, and public policies to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing within the international network. The conference will support the practical implementation of Nature-based Solutions on the ground and promote peer learning among participating cities.

This international and cross-sectoral conference aims to bridge the gap between science and practice by equipping researchers, practitioners, municipal officials, and decision-makers with the knowledge and tools needed to drive ecological, territorial, and governance transitions. It also aims to strengthen co-production with governments, businesses, and local communities to advance Nature-based Solutions worldwide.
