Cookie Policy
When you visit this website, information may be stored in “cookies” placed in the browser of your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone). This page explains what a cookie is, what it is used for, and how you can accept or reject cookies that are not essential to the operation and management of the site.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file containing small amounts of information (including an identifier in the form of a number, such as a session, a language preference, a security code to protect your browsing, the name of the server that placed it, and possibly an expiration date) that may be temporarily stored—subject to your choices regarding cookies not necessary for the site’s operation—on your device’s hard drive when you visit a website using your web browser. Cookies are managed by your web browser, and you can view them by right-clicking on the web page and selecting “Inspect Element.”
Only the issuer of a cookie can modify the information it contains. A cookie can be either a session cookie or a persistent cookie.
A session cookie lasts only for the duration of the browsing session and is deleted when the browser is closed. A persistent cookie is set for a specific period of time. This type of cookie remains on the device until it expires or until it is deleted from the computer via the browser settings or extensions.
Cookies do not identify you personally, but only the browser on your device. Some cookies require your prior consent before they can be installed on your device.
What are cookies used for?
The different types of cookies
Essential Cookies These are cookies placed exclusively by the website operator. They are essential for navigating the website. These cookies cannot be disabled or configured; doing so may prevent you from accessing the website or its services and/or may affect how the website is displayed. They allow you to use the website’s main features and secure your connection. Therefore, the placement of these cookies does not require your prior consent. Their lifespan generally does not exceed the duration of the session.
Functional cookies These cookies are necessary for the website to function. Your prior consent is not required for these cookies to be stored. These cookies enable:
- To compile anonymous statistics on traffic and usage of the various components of the website, in order to enable the publisher to manage and improve the website.
- To adapt the website’s layout to your device’s display preferences (language, screen resolution, operating system, etc.) when you visit the site, based on the hardware and software used for viewing or reading content on your device.
This site uses the Matomo web analytics tool (formerly Piwik), which complies with GDPR requirements. Matomo may set several cookies with durations ranging from the duration of the session or a few dozen minutes to 11 months.
Functional cookies stored:
| Name | Service provided | Purpose | Storage life |
| FGT Server | Security and Content Distribution | 1 hour | |
| _pk_ses | Traffic Statistics ; MATOMO (Piwik) | 30 minutes | |
| _pk_id | Traffic Statistics ; MATOMO (Piwik) | Statistics on page views by users | 11 months |
| _pk_testcookie | Traffic Statistics ; MATOMO (Piwik) | Check if the browser accepts cookies | Session |
| MATOMO_SESSID | Traffic Statistics ; MATOMO (Piwik) | Security | Session |
“Third-party” cookies Some websites may include third-party software applications that can place “social” and advertising cookies, as well as targeting and tracking cookies. In particular, the following services:
- Consent to or refusal of cookies from the Axeptio tool, developed by the French company Agilitation, which has been selected to manage cookies
- Content streaming by hosting platforms such as YouTube, Dailymotion, etc., for videos.
- Social media sharing features that allow you to share content from the site with others or to let others know that you have viewed or have an opinion about content on our site.
Cookies placed by these third parties may track the pages and websites you have visited and may collect personal data such as your IP address and share it with third parties. These cookies enable advertising networks, in particular, to show you targeted and personalized ads. Their lifespan varies, ranging from the duration of a single session or a few dozen minutes to several years. This site has no control over the process used by content hosts and social media platforms to collect information about your browsing activity and link it to the personal data they hold. You can manage the placement of these cookies. To view certain content, you must first accept these third-party cookies.
How do I manage cookies?
Cookies that are not intended solely to enable or facilitate electronic communication, or that are not strictly necessary for the provision of an online communication service at the user’s express request, require the user’s prior consent.
Cookies used solely to measure anonymous website or app traffic, in order to meet various needs necessary for the operation and day-to-day administration of a website, are not subject to consent.
To manage the cookies stored on your device, you have several complementary options:
- Accept or reject non-essential or non-functional cookies using the Axeptio-certified consent tool provided. A “Cookie Management” widget button allows you to accept or reject cookies that require consent, particularly those from third-party companies. The widget provides information about the purposes of these cookies and a link to their privacy policy via a “?”
- Exercise your choices with third-party companies by reviewing their privacy policies. There you will find information about how they use your data—including for advertising purposes—and the browsing information they may collect through the app buttons available on the website you are visiting. You can then adjust your account settings to accept or reject the trackers placed by these companies.
- Manage cookies using your browser settings. Most of these trackers can be disabled by configuring your browser to accept only trackers from the sites you visit (block “third-party sites,” check the “Do Not Track” box in most browsers) in your browser’s settings. In “Private Browsing” mode, cookies will only be deleted when you close the browser windows on the site.
How do I configure browsers?
Browser settings
To manage cookies in a way that best suits your preferences, we encourage you to configure your browser settings based on the purpose of the cookies:
- You can configure your web browser to notify you before a cookie is stored.
- The browser can also be configured to block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
- Any cookies already stored on the computer can be deleted.
- Each browser must be configured separately to block cookies.
