Facilitate and Communicate
Action 2
Engage a network of stakeholders in Nature-based Solutions and encourage the development of new ideas
To carry out innovative research on Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), the approaches and concepts in this field need to be further developed and shared, both within the scientific community and among the different stakeholders.
A better mutual understanding of the actors who are working or could potentially work on NbS is also essential.
To this end, the SOLU-BIOD program will implement several communication activities:
- Webinars to explore specific NbS topics, featuring several researchers and professionals recognized in their field
- Editorial and multimedia productions to present the concept of NbS and the results of SOLU-BIOD projects
- Scientific conferences—at the launch, mid-term, and end of the project—with presentations by international experts, including members of the Scientific Council and participants from certain SOLU-BIOD research projects or living labs
- Workshops to enable experience sharing and engage the community involved in the funded actions and projects
- Public presentations to make the main research findings on NbS accessible to a wider audience

As part of these activities, our communication tools include:
- The SOLU-BIOD newsletter to maintain a connection with the community of researchers and stakeholders involved in SOLU-BIOD
- The program website, including pages dedicated to the program’s activities
- A LinkedIn account to share news about the program and research on NbS
- Videos to communicate about the program and disseminate the latest findings of French research on NbS
