Establish a sustainable network of regional expert hubs on Nature-based Solutions
The field of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) requires a wide range of expertise: the challenge is to foster interaction between multiple areas of expertise and to include multi-stakeholder approaches. Led by INRAE and co-managed by Ifremer, this action will establish a national network of regional hubs, modeled on the GREC, dedicated to NbS expertise (design, implementation, and evaluation), bringing together both academic and non-academic actors.
The National Research Program on Nature-based Solutions will support scientists in the regions (including overseas territories) to partner with public and private actors in the creation of such hubs. This action will radically transform access to NbS expertise at the regional level.
